Can Syrian passport holder, living in United Arab Emirates get a Lao tourist visa, and from where since there's no embassy for Laos in UAE?

I am Syrian passport holder, have a work visa in United Arab Emirates, and resident there for 9 years now, and I want to get Lao tourist visa, and there's no Lao embassies in Dubai nor Abu Dhabi,


Please advise.

 No Lao visa on arrival for Syrian passport holder

Hi there,
According to the list here https://www.laos-guide-999.com/visa-on-arrival.html#noteligble, Syrian passport holders are not eligible for Lao visa on arrival regardless of your residency.

The only way to get the visa is to go to the embassy in other countries e.g. Thailand where you probably travel through anyway if you travel to Laos.

The title is 'Bangladeshi Passport holder' but the information is applicable to you too. It's worth reading through.
