Can a visa-on-arrival applicant buy Cambodia international bus ticket to cross border to Lao in Siem Reap?

Dear Administrator,


I have a plan to visit Lao from Cambodia in July.

I know I could apply for Visa on arrival at border.

And also there is a bus to cross border from Phnom Penh or from Siem Reap?

Now my question is : I have not Lao visa, could I buy the international bus ticket?

I am afraid that the driver will not wait me at border.

Sorry to take a bit long in getting back to you. I've been waiting for confirmation from the official re your question.

Apparently there is no problems getting a Lao visa on arrival when traveling by bus from Cambodia.

I'm confirmed by the Lao bus company, Sengchaleun, that most of their passengers are tourists and most of them get the Lao visa at the border on arrival.
So... I can confirm that the bus waits for their passengers to get their visa.

I need a VISA to Lao. I am a Nigerian but resident is in UK. Can I get that VISA easily? Is there any problem in getting the VISA? Please forward me the details for getting the VISA to Lao.
