I want visit Lao in the next months with my friends from Lao who stay in Canada. I am 65 years old. They told me that I can get a free visa to go and visit Lao while 15 days. Is it right and where I go to get it?

Not 100% sure

As far as I know, the free visa for 65+ years old only applies to Lao origin only. I remember checking this information with a consulate officer in Vientiane some time ago, and the answer is as I said (for Lao people living abroad) not for everyone.

If you're a Lao person living abroad you're sure entitle to this free visa, and it is described in details here https://www.laos-guide-999.com/visa-exemption.html (it's toward the bottom of the page).
