I am a 13 year old student from Laos. I am planning to travel to Vietnam. I am wondering if I can make a passport with my age.

Yes, you can have a passport
by: Duangpy

Hi Tou,
Regardless of age, anyone can have a passport provided that they have the documents required such as a family book and birth certificate.

Under the age of 18, when you apply for a passport your parents need to sign your application form and you need to appear in person with both parents at the time of lodging the application. This is because the passport officer needs to interview you and your parents.

I'd suggest you contact the passport center (if you're in other provinces other than Vientiane Capital) or the consulate in the capital for more details and up-to-date information.
