Can Brazilian passport holders get a Lao tourist visa on arrival?

by Mariana

I checked the Lao consulate website in the US and did not find any information about getting the tourist visa on arrival. I am going from Thailand to Laos and will be crossing the bridge by car. I'm Brazilian, living in the US. Can I get the visa on arrival? Is this information accurate? I am afraid traveling without the visa...
Many thanks!!

Hi Mariana,

Thanks for dropping by.
Yes Brazilian passport holders can get a Laos tourist visa on arrival at Laos international border check points and at the international airports.

If you have not already come across my posts, here is where you can check whether or not you can get visa on arrival

If your county is not listed in this list it means you're eligible for Lao visa on arrival.

Hope this gives you a little more confidence that you'll not travel without a visa.

Best of luck
